Using RaptorMobile VPN Client as a Bridge?
I'm running XP at home and have been struggling trying to find an effective solution that gets me access to the coporate VPN via our Raptor/RaptorMobile vpn. a second NIC and tried several of the NAT packages as well. Not a bad exercise in futility if you're one fond of recovering your toybox from BSoD at startup.

For VPN-1 testing here, I personally run SecureRemote on a standalone system that can be sacrificed, there is no 'king way I'd let it near my main production desktop. BSOD central as you said. I have found that there is a world of difference wrt stability between SRemote/SClient & other VPN solutions.

company uses the Cisco VPN solution to connect remote machines to our office. When this user connects to the VPN it works correctly for a certain period of time and then experiences a BSOD. BSOD when disconnecting
As I boldly decided to upgrade to Win2k on a machine that was having severe BSOD problems under NT 4.0, I find that the Cisco 3000VPN client will not load under Win2. Checking their site, I find that a beta of the new Unified VPN client is out, and will work under Win2k, but I have no way of receiving it.

fer...@san.rr.com microsoft public proxy I was able to tunnel from the Proxy server into a VPN by installing RRAS on the server. Make sure you reinstall the Service Pack after installing it. It will give you the BSOD if you don't. I haven't been able to do it from behind the Proxy server though.
